Please join us at Northwestern's 5th Annual Computational Research Day on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 showcasing computational research at the University. Opening remarks begin at 10am, or join us early for a workshop beginning at 8:30am (separate registration).

Highlights of the day will include:

  • Keynotes: Victoria Stodden, Associate Professor of Information Sciences, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Shane Larson, Associate Director of CIERA (Center for Interdisciplinary Exploration and Research in Astrophysics) and WCAS Research Associate Professor of Physics and Astronomy
  • Parallel talks from Northwestern researchers
  • Poster Competition highlighting Northwestern student and postdoctoral research
  • Workshops for computational and data skills
  • Birds of a Feather sessions
  • Researchers’ Reception
  • New this year: Visualization Competition and Lightning Talks

Lunch is provided at noon for those who register. A complimentary cocktail reception with light refreshments will give participants the opportunity to connect with other researchers at the end of the day.
